Westall Modem – PTPP Configuration

Hi All:

I need some help configuring a Westell 6100 modem for PTPP and IP protocol 47. Verizon DSL provided the Modem and I need to use it for RAS access.

The Modem log shows “unknown” protocol. It appears that I must add IP protocol 47 (GRE) to the configuration file — What is the syntax for adding GRE protocol in the Modem config file?

Both Verizon and Westell tech support have been useless: command string syntax should not be state secrets, right?
