What are they doing there?

How can I track what my Exchange users are doing? In particular, I would like to know each time someone works in connected mode. Is it possible using MS Exchange 5.5 tools? If not, any third-party product?

Is there any straightforward method to get basis messaging statistics (such as number and size of messages sent/received, by user, by date, by time of the day, etc.)?
