Primary vote to pick your candidate?
First off, this isn’t to start a war of politics… I like Hillary, but I am registered republican… And I also know that it was the current state leadership of those states that wanted to move the primaries forward, and not the democrat leadership.
But, it bothers me that 2 large states with a huge number of delegates do not have a say in who is to represent them in the run for office.
Be it Obama or Hillary, which ever… They should have a say.
Now, this is where I get really foggy… Who are the ones that decided these states would not hold a re-election? The governorship of those states or the democratic leadership?
Actually the last question means allot to me… For if it is the democratic leadership of those states are the ones that said no re vote, then I feel they have just let down their own parties membership. And that does not bode well for what I think of any candidate that comes from the democrats… If it was the governorship, then my low opinion just got lower of those states and their current administrations… They again, have let down their own citizens in their place in history with regard to who will be the democratic candidate this election.
I am curious though, what do other democrats think about this? And hopefully my understanding of this whole mess can be clarified. What a travesty of the Democratic process. I may not agree with the politics of individuals, but I do hold close to my heart the right of those individuals to vote for their candidate of choice.
