What does a junior Unix system administrator do ??
I’ve read the job ad’s for system administrators but I believe the actual day to day work might be a little different to that described.
I would guess that most system administrators delegatesome of their work to juniors or other members of their team.
I want to know what those other team members do. I would love to hear from you.
I want to know what are the day to day tasks that Junior System Administrators do. How does the team work and who does what.
I have been working with HP Unix for some time although I am not recognised, (or rewarded), for the work I do. I’m thinking about applying for a junior sys admin job and I want to see if the things I do are the same as the things you do.
