XP PRO SP2
My friend bought a used computer and got a box of computer peripherals, in the box is a webcam.
The webcam is not branded, it does have a FCC sticker but no FCC ID, it has not serial or model numbers.
When I connect the camera’s usb cable to my computer; XP recognises it as a USB camera, I then do a search for drivers, using the default option which searches the net, result; no drivers found.
I had a look at the hardware Update Wizard with the intention of specifying a device type and but there is no reference to camera in the list.
I have used diagnostic utilities; Belarc Advisor and Sandra Lite but they are unable to recognise the camera.
What other software might be able to recognise the camera and allow me to install the drivers.
