What will happen if…? (WINS Server)

I’m running MS Small Business Server v4.5 on NT v4.0. I using DHCP & WINS. I have two NIC’s installed. One for the internal network, and a second connected to the Internet. I noticed in WINS that there is a WINS server on the Internet connected NIC (which seems to be a no-no.) What will happen to WINS, clients, and my job if I delete the WINS server based on the Internet NIC?
