I’ve worked in the field of Marketing for over 15 years. I am experienced in Marketing Research, Marketing Management, and Professional Sales.
For my BS, I majored in Marketing & minored in Management. My Master’s is also in Marketing, with a heavy dose of multivariate statistic and psychometrics.
Over the next few years, I hope to get more deeply involved with Data Mining as a focus for the next 20 or so years of my career, perhaps until retirement.
From my investigations, I can enrich my skill set in the Computer Science field to include another Master’s Degree in Computer Science that specializes in the area of Database Design & Administration.
As an alternative, I could go the multiple certification route and similar training.
My question is which approach will provide the greatest long-term support my future in data mining?
