What’s YOUR experience with RS/6000?

I’m interested in what experiences others have had with RS/6000 servers.
– What are you running on them – OS, DBMS and applications?
– How do you support them – internally or outsourced?
– Why did you decide to go with RS6000’s rahter than the alternatives?
– How reliable have you found the machines to be? How scaleable?
– Experiences and war stories on RS/6000 running Oracle or DB2 would be expecially appreciated
– How do you share data with your other systems FTP? File Shares?
– Do your users have terminal access to the RS6000’s, and if so how did you connect them?
