When install Windows XP Keyboard not responding

When I install Xp, that CD had problems and finally give error massages. but can work with windows. Keybord also correctlly work. but Now I tried to format and install Xp. This time when came partisioning selection stage keybord not responding. Therefore I can’t intall. I remove battery and resat bios. but problem same. Then hard remove and format using another machine. Then try again to install XP. But problem also still happen. when come to partisioning selection stage keyboard not respondiing. What want to do?
