I am running an intranet webserver using IIS4.0 on an NT4.0 workstation in a Novell 4.11 enviroment.
On the webserver I have a second hard drive (d:)that contains all our intranet content. ICAN access this content from all browsers in our company.
But when I go to explorer on the webserver there is no d: drive visible.
I was able to access the content through a shortcut to a folder on d: (on the webserver) I then backed up in explorer until I could view all the folders on the drive. But I was unable to access them because of an “access not allowed error” .(I always log in as administrator and there are no other local users). I chose properties and selected all folders then took ownership, I was then able to copy the files to our Novell server. I updated service packs for IIS and NT but I still do not see d: in the explorer.
The webserver was fine for months. Then this happened.
Any suggestions?
