I am considering enrolling in a grad school program in Computer/Business Information Systems. I already have a Master’s degree in a non-CIS specialty field, however a CIS or BIS master’s would truely benefit me in my current and future positions because it requires both systems and this specialty knowledge. However, I am uncertain if the best way would be to get a full Master’s degree or a graduate certificate w/in IS. Also, does it really matter, w/in reason, to a future employer where I get the degree from? I am looking at attending a local college, attending a major university that is nearby, or an on-line program offered by a well-known and respected university. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any advise. Thanks!!
