Who knows how to get icons back

Hi All,

Here’s a brain teaser for you. I’m looking for a way to get my application icons back into my system tray after explorer.exe “spits the dummy.”

Sometimes explorer will throw an exception and Win2k Pro will tell me that it is shutting it down. Bringing up Task Manager and starting explorer.exe will give me a desktop back, but only a few system icons will show in the systray. All applications are still running but there associated icons nolonger show in the system tray.

Trying to start systray.exe doesn’t help. Can anyone tell me a way (without rebooting) to get these important little fellows back up again?
