Who’s making money?

Is there anybody out there making money as an independent consultant? If so, what are you doing successfully that perhaps others aren’t?

I’d be curious. In all the press, all you here is “gloom and doom” for IT. I can’t believe that EVERYONE is having a hard time. There’s got to be somebody somewhere making money or else people (investors) would be smart enough to get out of the game.

So, is there any one out there with success stories in IT consulting?
