Who’s responsibility is it?

I am the Network Administrator for our company and I also look after maintenance and upgrade of all the clients and relating software. So far all my software is licensed and legal, however I have been asked to install a database program on some clients that we do not have licences for. Who is responsible for this? Me or the company. I have also heard that I could lose my MCSE if the company are caught doing this. I would appreciate some insight so I have ammo to at least protect myself if Im forced to do this.
