Why no IP Address?

by ronjewell . Updated 17 years, 11 months ago

I have a wireless network in my home that now comprises a LinkSys WRV200 Router, two LinkSys Range Expanders, 4 computers with LinkSys USB wireless network adapters, and 1 computer with a LinkSys PCI wireless network adapter (everything Wireless G). All the USB-connected systems get on the network and get an IP address. The system with the PCI adapter reports a decent signal (usually ‘good’ strength and 24Mbs or higher), but this thing has a terrible time trying to get an IP address. How can I be on the network, with all the other systems getting IP addresses, and not get an IP address? I must be some kind of jerk!
