will linux install delete my c: ?

I am installing Linux Mandrake 7.1

I’m not sure if my c: will be okay. I’m installing it on the d: (a second HD) and want to duel boot.

Will my drive be okay?

Objective: using this as a proxy server and using a linksys switch to connect 3computers.
