I have a mix of ’95 and a couple of ’98 workstations on a small 10-node, through a hub peer-to-peer. One of the ’98 stations needs to be accessed by one of the ’95. All of the computer names show up in net neighborhood except one (only one) of the’98 machines and it’s the one I need to show up. Yes, I have File and Print Sharing started, same workgroup, everything the same, tried Netbeui, TCP/IP, reinstalled all networking, have drive shared, changed network card, to no avail. TCP/IP settings are correct (subnet, etc.) I’ve never seen this before and am pulling my hair out. Also have tried LanMan announce, Master Browser disabled, enabled. The ’98 stations can see all others fine, but no one can see hers. She is logged in correctly, too. Help.
