win xp sp3 demands drivers for a digital camera

Hey,

I have bought a new computer and installed xp sp3 on it.

When I plug my cannon ixus 65 to it – it recognizes the device but asks for drivers.

Before and with other computers I would just plug the camera and it would be displayed at the my computer folder and I could browse it just as an external disk.

Any suggestions as to what is the problem with my XP ?
