Win2000 in a Novell Environment

I work in an environment where we have traditionally used Win98 clients connecting to Novell servers. We are ordering any new machines with Win2000 Pro. The primary logon is therefore Novell, not Windows. The problem is that I often need to work on peoples computers when they have logged out, and I have no local username. Is there a way to get 2000 to accept authentication to a Novell server to obtain access to a local machine (similar to logging in to a domain)?
