Windows 2000 DUN appears to be expiring or corrupting the password to connect to the net.
System is W2K Pro being used as a server with ICS. The dial-up is set to auto connect on demand and the user name and pass are entered.
This configuration was working fine for about two months. There was a password problem at the ISP which has been resolved. The server ran out of dial attempts (65) trying to log on with the right user/pass which was at the time corrupt on the ISP server. Since this incident DUN will only connect once either manually or on auto demand. The next time will require the password replaced.
Any Idea how to fix this problem?
This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! 🙂
