Win2K Froze on Startup

Hello all,
I’ve just brough a new AMD 1.2G with Gigabytes motherboard. After I’ve put them in, tried to boot up Win2K (pre-installed and working on an old Pentium 350Mhz), the MBR stuffed(can’t find NTLDR) so I installed Win2K again. Everythingis okie until I tried to start up after all components installed. It’s just froze at “Please wait while starting…”.
I’ve installed Linux RH 7.1 on it without any problem.
I’ve tried 3 different HDD on that machine but still the same thing – froze on start of Win2K.

Anyone have any idea?
