win95/98 DNS settings for laptop mobile

Hello everyone,

I have a user that has a DSL hookup at home. I tried changing the DNS settings so that his pcmcia ethernet card would use DHCP for his home setup and the adapter in his docking station would use settings for our network with a static IP. However, if I changed a setting in either of the TCPIP settings, the DNS settings would change for all adapters.
I thought it was possible to specify a different DNS server for each of the adapters? As it is, this user must change his DNS settings both when he goes home and when he comes back into the office.
Am I missing something overly obvious?
