WIN95 Screen Saver Password

I am unable to change a WIN95 screen saver password. All attempts to change the password have failed. The machine does not have any .PWL files on the C Drive. Apparently system policies have disabled password caching. Attempts to “crack” the password from the registry provide a password that the user reports she had used at one time and as she types this in the “OLD PASSWORD” box, the system reports “INCORRECT OLD PASSWORD”.
