Windows 2000 and Windows 95 machines don

I’ve had these two machines (both work-stations) net-worked peer-to-peer at home. But they can not see each other. Ethernet NIC cards were installed correctly; Network cable is working; Neither TCP/IP or NetBui works.

But I did notice that the light on the NIC cards are not on.

Any ideas?
