Windows 2000 Cluster vs. UNIX

I am working moving one of our critical systems to a new server. However I am getting flak from the UNIX people because I want to move it to Windows 2000 AS and use clustering with two servers and a raid box connected with fiber channel SCSI. Whichplatform do you think would be better and have the least interuption of service?
