windows 2000 professional

discuss an issue about the windows 2000
professional which logons to the NT4.0 Server and the password has a grace period of 60 days being set at NT4.0
Windows 95 and 98 receive a notification saying that your password about to expire but windows 2000 professional does not receive notification from the NT4.0 SERVER. read an article saying is a known issue ,is there any work around.
