We have a server (domain controller) that had to be reinstalled to install a PERC card. We had backed up the databases running on this server so that they could be restored. The server was completely reinstalled (Active Directoy/DNS) and the original domain name, users and computers restored. All server software was reinstalled and the databases restored. We were using one shared printer which is a local on one of the workstations.
We reinstalled the printer on the local workstation and reshared it so that all of the other workstations could install it as a network printer. Prior to the reinstall, any user could add the printer. Since the reinstall, only users with admin rights on the network and the workstations can add it.
Anyone know what would cause this? Thanks!
