Windows 2003. Sites and replication

Hi there,

What I’d like to know is this

KCC creates connections between sites. However just because there is a connection between two sites does NOT mean that replication will actually occur over that site-link. Alternative connections are there so that replication can occur with another site incase the preferred site goes down.

Is this statement correct?
