Windows Back up utility

I backed up my data using the MS utility (it’s saved as a “microsoft back up file”. file). I was working with XPPro. Well sure enough, my pc was stolen. I bought a used machine with XPHome installed and I cannot get to my XP Pro back up now unless I upgrade to XP Pro or get the XP Home to activate the back up utility. To do this I need the installation CDs which rarely come with a computer any more.

Anyone have any ideas?
