Windows NT 4

My dell optiplex gxi computer stopped working; I was frozen. Turned computer off and rebooted. A blue screen came up saying dumping random memory see your administrator. Tried emergency disk in the A drive and went through the Windows NT setup. Still get the blue screen and same message. What happen? Is the blue screen of death that everyone talks about. Any suggestions?
