Windows XP

I have the commaon task showing on the desktop and want to remove it. I have rename the XP_CommonTasks.exe it find the registery key file://%userappdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop.htt, this is correct. I have been searching for a resolve to this issue with no resolve.

Anyone have another fix for this?
