Windows XP Home File Sharing over network WAN

A prior IT person put a workstation with WinXP Home in our office. It’s being used by a physician as she is dictating. Her transcriptionist used an XP Pro machine, however, as she was located in the same office so sharing a folder over the lan was no problem. Now the transcriptionist has moved to another office. The offices are connected via a sonicwall. The problem I am having now is that the XP Pro machine can’t see the Home machine share. Is there a workaround that I can implement to overcome this, or am I just missing something simple.
