Windows XP Professional could not connect to windows 2000 domain

I have changed the computer name (OS WIN XP Professional SP2) after that I’m not able to login to windows 2000 domain & it gives an error windows can not connect to the domain
eighter because domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable or because your computer
account was not found
