windows xp works with pppoe?

I have an modem DSL 3Com 3cp4130 installed on WINDOWS XP but the protocol pppoe Microsoft doesn’ t works
Then i have installed the protocoll pppoe ver0,96 Robert Schlabbach and internet works only with this site:
www.msn.it.
Can you help me?
