Windows95 and NT sharing

Im havin trouble getting an nt machine to alow a win95 lap top to allow access to the users shared directory.
This only happens random machines.Many others just work.
The nt permissions on the nt box are set and the pc attributes on the windows machine are none.

Any Ideas?
