if a system has an excess amount of ram say 700+mb, does windows still run a swap routine? logic would say no, no need use hardrive for volitile memory when there is massive ram real estate. but you never know with microsoft. other than disabling it in the virtual memory dialogue box and getting the scary “if you do…” exit message i would feel better if i knew the
automatic feature is capable of automatic absentia.
