Yeah, I still use it. I have a server that all of a sudden doesn’t want to share it’s printer anymore. I got a message about it not being configured for transactions. Now I get one that says the RPC server is unavailable.
If I go to explorer, onanother computer, then go to network neighborhood and click on the machine with the problem, I get a message that says it is not configured for transactions, YET I can map a shared folder/directory simply by typing in the complete path to it and I have no trouble accessing those files. So how is it I can map to it but can’t just click on it in explorer and see the shares? And why won’t it let me use the printer from another machine?
One other thing. I get an error message when I start the computer that reads: “SVCHOST1.exe – Entry point not found – The procedure entry point SymGetLineFromAddr could not be located in the dynamic link library Imagehlp.dll”
I then re-copied the Imagehlp.dll file from another machine but still the same problem. Short of re-installing everything from scratch you got any ideas?
