WinPopUP in Win2K or NT

I’ve used winpopup in a Win 98 network. Now I’m using Win2K on my machine, we have a NT standalone server, and one machine using NTWorkstation. The Win98 machines that have Winpopup can send me a message, but I can’t find a way to send them messages or respond to their message. I could use e-mail but we don’t have Exchange or ms mail (goes out to an isp).

Is there something like winpopup in Win2K? I looked into Message Queing and loaded it, but did not find a way to use it for sending messages to other machines in the LAN.
