WINS Server Question

I’m having some weird things happening on my WINS servers. Sometimes I get all the computers on my network to appear in Network Neighborhood, usually different subnets do not show up. Now one one machine I can search for a computer name and they pop up, but on the others I can only search by IP. What gives?
