14 month old HP OfficeJet 5610 works fine on my WinXP Desktop with Quicken, 2007 Office Suite, Wordpad, Notepad, Clickbooks, Quicken. Most of my docs are set for .5 margins all around, which are the default non-printing areas of the 5610.
New LapTop WinVista Home Premium: bottom margin keeps changing to .586 or .59; all the same apps installed, self-test is fine, margins still fine when plugged into the Desktop. Per 5 HP Chat sessions(!) I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software 5 times, both with my CD and their download.
Ran HPs driver check, says they are up to date. Phoned HP Cust Support who told me to buy a new $10 CD, which is supposed to have newer WinVista Drivers than their Website!?!
One more uninstall/install later, it didn’t do a thing. I wondered if anyone knows anything about this problem?
