WinXP Pro – restore Default User folder?

Playing in Windows XP Professional, I overwrote the C:\Documents and Settings\Default User folder with a test user profile. I should have known better, but I didn’t save a backup copy of the default folder first. 🙁

Now, whenever a new user logsinto the PC, it takes several minutes for their profile to be created. I tried going back to the original XP setup using System Restore, but it didn’t help.

How can I fix this? Can I get a copy of the standard ‘Default User’ folder/files (online,XP install CD, etc) and can copy them back in?
