wireless

I have a Acer Aspire laptop and I am trying to set up the wireless,can anyone please help.I got this wireless laptop as i have problems with mobility and thought it would be easier with a laptop.its a vestra windows.
the laptop keeps asking for my password and addess for the administration.but how do i get it.
