Word 2003 does not show Outlook Contact list for printing envelopes

I have recently updated Office 2003 with SP 1&2 because Word gave me an error message when attempting to print an envelope in Word using the Outlook Contact list, and it was suggested that SP2 would fix this problem.
With the updates in place Word does not even show Contacts when I try to access the address book.
I recently upgraded to Office 2003 from 2002 so I could access my contacts on a smartphone.
Can you help me find Contacts in Word for envelope printing?
