Word hangs when logged on

hi there. Was wondering if you can shine some light on a weird problem I’m seeing.

Installed Office 2K months back but now one of the users can’t get into Word. Reinstalled & repaired the O2K installation and ran the service packs. Still not working. Thing is that when she logs into the network it crashed but when she cancels it goes into word no problem. It is a windows 98 machine. I’ve already removed and reinstalled TCCP/IP in case that did it and have messed with the normal.dot plenty. Removing it and renaming it, etc. Still no joy.

Any ideas?
