Word table printing problem

We have MS Word 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-1). I frequently create one-page tables and print them on landscape. The first printings are fine, and then, over time (after subsequent edits–or no edits), the resulting print out and the print preview changes so that the left portion of the table “disappears.” When I check the margin settings, it sometimes shows no change and other times shows that the margin was changed to 2.47 (must be some kind of magic number). Sometimes recentering the table works, sometimes deleting Normal.dot works, and now nothing works. Before I reinstall Word, any suggestions?
