Word2000 Unrecoverable Disk Error/ Save

We are running Office 2000 on a new Dell computer with Windows 2000. ThisPC is connected to a Novell Network. Each time we try to save a previously opened and saved document from a network drive we get the following error message “There is an unrecoverable disk error on File PSR(7J03). doc The disk you’r working on has a media problem that prevents Word from using it”. We are able to save with a different name on the same network drive and can then rename to the old original name without error messages. We can also save without problems to the C drive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Judy
