Workstation administration on win2k

What is the easiest way to centrelize the workstation administration? I ahve been using win2k terminal services – taht works ok . Problems i have is no local drive or printer support. What about group policy – i have not fully implemented it but it looks great.
How granualar get you get? For instance – can i include domain group in a local group for all the machines? ( local admins in local administrators )
