X windows for Redhat 6.2

I’m installing Redhat 6.2 with default option of Server only. Now I would like to install X windows, so I ran rpm -ihv Xfree86*rpm, but it ask for lib*.so. What is that .so extension and how do I install? Is there anothere way of installing X windows beside rpm method?
