X.25 conversion to IP

There is a lot of discussion about XOT(X.25 over IP) and we have had some bad experiences with it. We have some X.25 links that need to come back on our enterprise IP network. We are thinking of converting the X.25 to native IP. Any input on the possible pitfalls and how it has been implemented would be welcome. Thanks, J.D.
