Xine

My Compaq (Presario 12XL310) Laptop has a DVD drive. I have Redhat 7.3 installed on this laptop. I am trying to use Xine to playback my DVD’s.

Xine opens fine, however when I select play in the program the following error message comes up:

-xine engine error-

There is no available input plugin available to handle “dvd:/VIDEO_TS.VOB”.

What plugin does Xine need….Help!!!!!

I know there is something about the legality of playing DVD using open source programs. Is this what is kicking me in the butt, and if so is there any programs out there that does not have this issue of legality?
